Ovive Organic Smoked Trout enjoys exceptional farming conditions. Raised in high quality graded rivers (category A and B),  Ovive Organic Smoked Trout is farmed in a protected environment. Slow growing and a low density of fish in the farm according to the rigorous specifications of organic farming and concern for the constant welfare of fish.

The feed for the trout is particularly rich in 100% organic cereals.

Your organic Ovive trout comes from four farms:

The “Aldudes” site, in the heart of the Basque Country, the “Sources de la Seranne” site in the Cévennes National Park, the sites of “Lévignacq” and “Castets”, in the heart of the Landes.

Smoked trout carpaccio with sichuan pepper

DESCRIPTION

Share a moment of fine delight with this preparation. These fine marinated slices of trout, with soft and melting flesh, smoked with beech wood, wait for your palate to release their subtle aromas.

Our carpaccio of smoked trout is presented in very thin slices, sprinkled with spices and aromatics including Sichuan pepper.

1 pod of lemon oil (60% olive oil, 25% rapeseed oil) is available inside the packaging to enhance the carpaccio.

Count 100 g of product in entry for 3 to 4 persons.

Enjoy with a green salad, basil and Parmesan cheese.

Smoked trout with piment d'espelette

DESCRIPTION

These Ovive trout are raised in the pure waters of the Nive des Aldudes, site selected in the heart of the Basque Country for the quality of its waters by the brothers Pettan and Xabi Harispe.

As for the flavors, they benefit from optimal breeding and feeding conditions in order to guarantee you an authentic subtly taste.

The product is sprinkled with Piment d’Espelette after being smoked on beech wood.

A real product of terroir with incomparable character!

A long manual and thorough preparation is necessary for the processing of trout caviar into pasteurized jars. The caviar is just lightly salted and contains no additives, colors or preservatives. It is a very natural and particularly healthy product. To taste without moderation.

The feed for organic trout farming is particularly rich in 100% organic cereals.

The eggs are collected during winter, just salted and pasteurized in glass jars. A very natural and particularly healthy product.

We have four organic farming sites in France, the fifth in Spain. They are regularly audited by independent certification bodies.
